The former headquarters of the Norwegian America Line has been brilliantly restored into a vibrant luxury hotel run by Nordic Hotels & Resorts. The landmark neo-baroque building from 1919 has been sensitively restored with interiors that reflect the past, the future and the present in an eclectic mix. Ameriklinjen used to serve as a connection between Oslo and New York, and in a nod to this the hotel will feature art by contemporary American artists throughout the building. In addition to the 122 rooms the hotel boasts Atlas Café and Brasserie, Haven courtyard bar, Pier 42 bar and jazz club Gustav. Interior design by Puroplan, Finland. Open since March 15, 2019.
